Founded in 2012, FELTTURC Kaliteks Vatka Keçe continues its production in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone. Increasing its production every year, the company continues to improve its quality as well and addresses to wider consumer groups. Focusing on exports, FELTTURC also grows its export rate every year. Aiming to provide a high standard of service, FELTTURC prioritizes customer satisfaction. FELTTURC Kaliteks Vatka Keçe Board Member Mustafa Kiper talked about the company’s mission. Kiber says that they show everyone that they stand by their customers after the sale as well as before the sale and that they attach great importance to customer satisfaction. Kiper adds: “We are an unconditionally customer-focused company.” Full text of the interview follows:

How did you go through the pandemic period that caused great uncertainty in the industry? What kind of predictions did you have for the future and how was the pandemic period for you?

COVID-19 patients were identified for the first time in our country on March 11 in 2020. As of this date, we, as company partners, have decided not to lay off our employees. We focused on finding new customers on our market research in March and April 2020. There was a great uncertainty in the industry and nobody knew what to do during the pandemic period. The first periods of this period were very quiet, but we felt that there would be great intensity afterwards. We were not wrong about our predictions and there was a great density in the sector. As of May 2020, we entered a very busy period and our business has come to a very good level. We ended the year 2020 with 30% growth compared to the previous year.

Which factors do you pay attention to the most during the production phase?

Our main priority in our production is customer satisfaction. We attach great importance to customer satisfaction. For this reason, our customers, whom we have started to work with, cooperate with us for a long time. This situation makes us stand out more when you compare our company with our competitors.

“We started glue production”

FELTTURC started glue production with QBOND. Are you open to such new developments and how are your R&D processes going?

We want to add new success stories to our success in nonwovens. For this reason, we started glue production with the brand of QBOND due to the intense demands of our customers. We want to provide our customers’ glue needs and serve them better. On the other hand, we are always trying to design new products to fulfill the demands of our customers with our quality products.

Do you think the industry needs more different products?

We believe that the industry always needs products of the best quality. We do not limit quality only to product quality. We support quality with service quality, communication quality and price quality. Thus, we show our customers that we aim quality in all areas of the industry.

“We developed Customer Satisfaction Memory System”

Are there any difficulties in the production phase? What are these? What are you doing to solve these issues?

In our production phase, we developed a system called “Customer Satisfaction Memory” in order to provide better products to our customers. We adopt this system as a principle and always aim to use it in the best way possible. This situation sometimes challenges us, but this system is very important for us. Therefore, we will continue to use this system and provide the best service to our customers.

How do you provide raw material supply?

We start to care about quality at the raw material supply stage. For this reason, we are in contact with the best raw material suppliers in our industry and we always work with the best suppliers. There may sometimes be a shortage of raw materials in the industry, but we do not have any problems even in periods of raw material shortages. We are always in cooperation with our raw material suppliers.

Which countries do you export to and what are your goals in this regard?

As a company, we export to approximately 50 countries. The ratio of our exports to our total sales is half. Our goal in export is to find new markets as the leading company of the sector and to offer our quality products to new markets.

As Kaliteks Vatka Kece company and the internationally known FELTTURC brand, we are involved in every step from raw material supply to marketing and sales. We follow our work closely and do it in the best way possible. Our company researches local and international developments about our industry and we strive to work in harmony to bring our company to the best position. What kind of projects do you have in the future? What are your goals in the industry in general?

As the leading company in the industry, we aim to add new products to our high quality traditional products. We want to contribute to the development of the mattress industry and to support the export of our country by providing the demands of the mattress industry.
