Breaking the mold: Elektroteks rewrites the rules of production

Building fully automated Industry 4.0 factories for mattress and foam production, Elektroteks is recognized as the world’s largest manufacturer of mattress production machines and a global innovator in foam processing lines. The company continues to scale its strength with bold investments and cutting-edge innovation. Operating from a 40,000-square-meter production facility in Bursa with a team of 350, Elektroteks exports more than 90% of its output to over 140 countries.

“We’re aiming for 25% growth this year,” says Güler. “We’ve also kicked off two major projects for the domestic market.” With robotic systems integrated into their processes, Güler explains: “Automating machines that work with flexible materials requires serious R&D. Our 60-person team launched 78 new machines last year alone. We now offer 450 unique machine models, with over 70% local content.”

One of Elektroteks’ greatest advantages is its software-driven production model: “We operate like tailors — every machine we produce is custom-made to suit the customer’s vision. With our facilities in Germany, the US, Bulgaria, Brazil, and India, we offer regional service on a global scale. Now we’re taking it even further: beyond mattresses and foam, we’re developing unmanned machines for quilt production too. We’re not just simplifying manufacturing — we’re redefining the game. We’ve broken the mold. And now, we’re writing the new rules.”

Making history, one fair at a time

“In the first five months of this year, Elektroteks participated in five international fairs,” said Güler. “Most recently, at the biennial Interzum Cologne in May, we made our mark with a 45-person team across a massive 1,150-square-meter booth. With our new foam cutting machines and robotic lines, we provided cost-cutting solutions for mattress manufacturers. The enthusiastic reception was a big win for us and our customers alike. Once again, we showcased the Elektroteks difference with machines that deliver innovation, performance, and power.”

 

Mammut goes the extra mile under the Güler family’s wing

One of the standout milestones in Elektroteks’ global expansion was the acquisition of Mammut, one of Germany’s oldest and most respected quilting machine manufacturers. “With 152 years of history, Mammut is a symbol of quality and trust in the industry. Acquiring 100% of its shares wasn’t just a buyout — it was a vision investment,” said Güler.

“Mammut is a well-known brand not just in mattress manufacturing but also in home textiles. After the acquisition, the 50-person team in Germany continued with renewed motivation. With our R&D strength and procurement advantages, we’ve begun implementing systems that boost quality while slashing costs by 30%. And we’re only getting started — Mammut is on the rise.”

 

Changing the game, one machine at a time

Güler highlighted the importance of innovation on the international stage: “We unveil new machines at every single fair we attend. The technologies we’ve developed are changing the course of the industry. This year, as Mammut, we received overwhelming interest at two international events. There’s rising demand for fully automated quilt production lines — and we plan to launch production by the end of 2026.”

Üretimin ezberini bozan güç: Elektroteks

Yatak ve sünger üretimi alanında tam otomasyonlu endüstri 4.0 fabrikalar kuran, yatak üretim makine ve hatlarında dünyanın en büyük üreticisi, sünger hatlarında ise dünyada ilklerin arasında yer alan Elektroteks, sektördeki gücünü yeni yatırımlar ve inovasyonlarla katlayarak artırıyor. Elektroteks, bugün Bursa İrfaniye’deki 40 bin metrekarelik üretim tesisinde 350 kişilik kadrosuyla üretim yapıyor. Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Osman Güler, “Üretimimizin yüzde 90’ından fazlasını ihraç ediyoruz. 140’tan fazla ülkeye teknoloji ulaştırıyoruz. Bu yıl da yüzde 25’lik bir büyüme hedefliyoruz. İç pazarda bu yıl teslim edeceğimiz iki büyük projeye de başladık” dedi. Robotik sistemleri yatak ve sünger üretim süreçlerine entegre ettiklerini belirten Güler, “Esnek malzemelerle çalışan makinelerin otomasyonla entegrasyonu ciddi Ar-Ge gerektiriyor. 60 kişilik Ar-Ge ekibimizle sadece geçen yıl pazara sunduğumuz 78 yeni makine geliştirdik. 450 farklı makine çeşidimiz var. Yerlilik oranımız yüzde 70’in üzerinde.” diye konuştu. Yazılım altyapısına dayalı üretim yapılarının en büyük avantajları olduğunu ifade eden Güler, “Tam anlamıyla terzi usulü çalışıyoruz. Müşterinin hayaline özel makine üretimi gerçekleştiriyoruz. Yurt dışında Almanya, ABD, Bulgaristan, Brezilya ve Hindistan’daki işletmelerimizle bölgesel hizmet sağlıyoruz. Artık sadece yatak değil, sünger ve yakında yorgan üretiminde de insansız üretim sağlayacak makineler geliştiriyoruz. Biz, üretimi kolaylaştırmakla kalmıyor, sektörü yeniden tanımlıyoruz. Ezberleri bozduk. Artık ezberleri biz yazıyoruz” şeklinde konuştu.

Fuardan fuara tarih yazmak

“Bu yıl Elektroteks olarak beş ayda beş ayrı uluslararası fuarda yer aldık. En son mayıs ayında iki yılda bir gerçekleştirilen Interzum-Köln fuarında toplamda 1.150 metrekarelik bir alanda 45 kişilik personelle tarih yazdık. Yeni sünger kesim makinalarımız ve robotlu hatlarla, yatak üreticilerinin maliyetlerini düşürecek formüller sunmuş olduk. Yoğun ilgi gören yeniliklerimiz hem müşterilerimizi hem de bizleri çok mutlu etti. Fuarda sunduğumuz teknolojik, inovatif ve üretim gücünü arttıracak makine çeşitlerimiz ile Elektroteks farkını bir kez daha ortaya koyduk.” diyen Osman Güler fuarların önemine bir kez daha dikkat çekti.

 

“Mammut artık Güler ailesinin yönetimiyle daha da güçlü”

Elektroteks’in küresel büyüme yolculuğundaki en dikkat çekici adımlardan biri, geçtiğimiz yıl Almanya’nın en köklü kapitone dikiş makinesi üreticilerinden Mammut’un satın alınması oldu. 152 yıllık geçmişiyle sektörde kalite ve güvenin sembolü olan Mammut’un yüzde 100 hissesini satın aldıklarını hatırlatan Osman Güler, bu hamlenin yalnızca bir satın alma değil, aynı zamanda bir vizyon yatırımı olduğunu vurguladı. Güler, “Mammut sadece yatak değil, ev tekstilinde de tanınan ve tercih edilen bir marka. Satın alım sonrası Almanya’daki 50 kişilik ekip artan bir motivasyonla çalışmaya devam ediyor. Biz de Ar-Ge gücümüz ve satın alma avantajlarımızla kaliteyi artırırken maliyetleri yüzde 30 düşürecek sistemleri devreye almaya başladık. Bu motivasyonla Mammut’u daha da yukarı taşıyacağız.” diye konuştu.

 

Her yeni makineyle sektörde oyunun kurallarını değiştiriyorlar

Uluslararası fuarlarda her yıl mutlaka yeni makineler sergilediklerini vurgulayan Güler, “Geliştirdiğimiz teknolojilerle sektörün gidişatını değiştiriyoruz. Bu yıl şimdiye kadar Mammut olarak katıldığımız iki uluslararası fuardan da çok güçlü talepler aldık. Tam otomasyonlu yorgan üretim makinelerine ciddi talep geliyor. Muhtemelen 2026 sonunda tam otomasyonlu yorgan üretim makinelerinin üretimine de başlıyoruz” bilgisini verdi.
