Akdemir Machinery, which started production in Kayseri in 1934, sees fairs important in terms of promotion of new products and face-to-face communication as a solution to economic fluctuations in their search for new markets. Akdemir Machinery, which lists the names of the fairs they intended such as Düsseldorf K, Plast Eurasia and Interzum, aims to stimulate the stagnation of 2019 through fairs.
Serving successfully in the Turkish industry for 84 years, Akdemir Makine has specialized in the projects and designs it has made on special machines for plastic, sofa and home textile sectors for the last 30 years.
“We are hopeful of Sleep Well Fair”
Akdemir Machine, taking part in the sixth edition of Sleep Well Expo, Turkey’s only trade fair on mattress and bedding products. Osman Akdemir, foreign trade manager of the company, said: “We have been in business since 1934 and we have been manufacturing machinery since 1991. We are hopeful of the Sleep Well fair that we attended for the first time this year.”
Akdemir said that the year 2019 has been progressing slow from the economic point of view and added, “2019 is sluggish compared to previous years. Contraction is felt both in domestic and foreign markets. We see that the fairs are the best solution to save our company from such economic fluctuations.” Akdemir, who emphasized the importance of market search and expanding the diversity of customer portfolio, said, “Our priority is to participate in Düsseldorf K, Plast Eurasia and Interzum fairs. We are also in the process of evaluating other fairs held in India and America.”
