Nano Yay; “We prioritized the US market in 2022”

Serkan KIR, CEO of Nano Yay, one of the young and dynamic companies of the spring industry, which is one of the most important components of the mattress, gave an interview to our magazine about the ISPA EXPO 2022 Fair, where they will appear as a company. Kır expressed what the fair will add to the sector, its goals as a company, and its predictions about the effects of the fair on exports.

ISPA is a very important fair in terms of reaching manufacturers in the America continent and could not be held last year due to the pandemic. That’s why I think there will be a lot of interest. In addition, due to the extremely high Far East freight costs during the pandemic period, Turkey has become a very good alternative for American mattress manufacturers in the supply of raw materials. That’s why I think it will be a very effective fair in terms of increasing our market share in the America continent and introducing ourselves in the short and long term.

Serkan Kır expressing that their primary expectation from the fair is to increase their sales to the American continent and to reach new customers stated that they have prioritized the US market for 2022.

Mr. Serkan, who predicts that ISPA EXPO 2022 Fair will bring a significant export momentum to the Turkish mattress components sector and that companies producing mattress components can gain an important place in the US market, continued his speech on the subject; “As you know, the USA is a multinational and crowded country. Opening to the US market will make the opportunity to establish connections in other world countries and to export to these countries.”

Mentioning the fairs canceled due to the pandemic and the resumption of fairs, Nano Yay CEO Kır finally gave the following statements; “Canceled fairs, of course, negatively affected both our and other sectors’ exports. As you know, fairs serve as a place where companies exhibit their products and meet with foreign customers. I think that of course the continuation of the fairs and the presence of Turkish companies in these fairs are going to increase the export capacity of our country, ensure that our country is represented abroad more and that export companies like us will contribute more to the production economy.”
